Mohit Khanna

Mohit Khanna is an AAPG-certified petroleum geoscientist with a PhD and more than 40 years of international upstream oil and gas experience, spanning exploration, field development, asset management, and investment assurance across a wide range of geological settings worldwide.

Throughout his career, Mohit has held senior technical and leadership positions with leading international operators, including Norsk Hydro, Statoil (now Equinor), BG Group, Petrofac, and Jersey Oil & Gas. He possesses extensive regional geological expertise across both clastic and carbonate reservoir systems, including complex fractured carbonate and clastic environments.

Mohit has significant experience providing technical assurance and strategic guidance to support major investment decisions relating to field developments, asset acquisitions, and divestments. As Chief Geologist and Subsurface Manager, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and delivered geological and subsurface expertise across the full upstream value chain, from exploration and appraisal through to development planning, production optimisation, and field operations. His combination of technical excellence, leadership, and commercial insight has supported the successful evaluation and development of assets across multiple international basins.
