Vincent Sheppard
Chief Geophysicist

Vincent Sheppard is a highly experienced geophysicist with over 40 years of international experience in subsurface analysis, exploration, field development, and production support across the global oil and gas industry.
Throughout his career, Vincent has developed extensive expertise across the full spectrum of subsurface disciplines, including seismic acquisition, data processing, interpretation, geology, and reservoir engineering. His broad technical knowledge and practical approach have enabled him to support exploration, development, and production projects in a variety of geological settings, with particular strength in land-based operations.
Vincent has successfully led and worked within multicultural technical teams across numerous international locations, including Algeria with Anadarko and Russia with Hess. As Chief Geophysicist for Petrofac, he provided technical leadership and support to projects in Tunisia, Mexico, Malaysia, and Romania. More recently, he completed a successful two-year interpretation project in East Africa for Sasol. Recognised for his strong technical capability and advanced software expertise, Vincent is committed to driving geophysical excellence and delivering high-quality subsurface evaluations that support effective operational and investment decisions.
